When you use the app, we store the thoughts, notes, and other content you choose to capture, along with the AI-generated summaries, tags, and categorizations the app produces from that content. We also collect basic usage data (such as sign-up dates and subscription status) needed to operate your account.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the Fluent Thoughts service — storing, organizing, summarizing, and resurfacing your captured thoughts; sending the email digests and reflection reminders you enable; processing subscription payments; and communicating with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.
AI processing
Captured thoughts are processed by AI models to generate summaries, tags, and types, and to power the insight, resurface, and interview features. This processing is performed to deliver the service you requested. Your content is used to serve you, not to train shared models for other users.

We share information only as needed to operate the service (for example, with our payment processor for subscriptions and our email delivery provider for digests and notifications), or when required by law. Any such provider is bound by obligations to protect your information and to use it only to provide the service we requested.

We retain your captured content and account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual thoughts or your archived items at any time; deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Your rights

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Fluent Thoughts is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
